Superman Returns: This is a classic superman adventure with all the key players. Superman has disappeared, and for a few years Metropolis has seen a huge rise in crime. Now, Lex Luther is out of prison, and planning out his crimes. Superman eventually realizes that his place in the world is in keeping Metropolis safe, so he returns to Metropolis to battle Lex, and the rest of the cities criminals.

Gothica: Criminal psychologist Dr. Miranda Grey wakes up to find herself in the institution where she works, the state prison for the criminally insane. She has been accused of killing her husband. She feels that a ghost is affecting her. She escapes the asylum to prove her innocence. Will she be able to?

Man in the Net: Fair tirade of a lad trying to rid himself of a murder charge for spouse's mortality. Cast includes Michael Curtiz, Alan Ladd, Carolyn Jones, Diane Brewster, Charles McGraw, John Lupton, and Tom HeImore. (97 minutes, 1959)

Holiday Affair: Well-finished Christmastime tale of battle widow Leigh, with a youthful child, who's commuted by fine-gentleman Corey. Cast includes Robert Mitchum, Janet Leigh, Wendell Corey, Gordon Gebert, Griff Barnett, Esther Dale, Henry O'Neill, and Henry Harry Morgan. (87 minutes, 1949)

Bliss: High-powered businessman has a chief heart assault, sees himself dying, and then refreshes-which changes his whole outlook on life. After a dynamic opening this stylized satire slows to a snail's pace and loses its shove. On the other hand, it was an Australian Academy Prize victor and a global film carnival top choice, so magistrate for your self. Cast includes Barry Otto, Lynette Curran, Helen Jones, Miles Buchanan, Gia Carides, and Tim Robertson. (111 minutes, 1985)

Miami Rhapsody: Youthful female is scared of carrying out to matrimony, given the tumult of her parents' and siblings' domestic lives. Philadelphia: Andrew Beckett is a gay lawyer who has aids. He is dying of the disease. As he battles to live on, he chooses to sue the law firm, to help further the cause of other aids victims. His originally homophobic lawyer, fights through his prejudice to fight for this cause.

His Kind of Woman: Mitchum blindly goes to Mexico for a payoff of 50 grand, finds he's the eventually-to-be-lifeless chump whose identity can help deported gangster Burr re-enter the nation. Cult film is overlong, although its spoofing of he-gentleman heroics predates the more rejoiced BEAT THE DEVIL by 3 years; Cost is humorous as a ham performer. Cast includes Robert Mitchum, Jane Russell, Vincent Cost, Tim Holt,Raymond Burr, Charles McGraw, and Jim Backus. (120 minutes, 1951)
