If youre new and have just started playing World of Warcraft, youve probably been struggling to make ends meet, much like I was when I first started playing. I looked around for tips on how to make gold, desperate strategies on how to make gold through the auction house.
I stumbled upon Secret Warcraft, on the front page was one of Jonathan Kenins podcast where he was giving a weekly review of good gold makers in the game.
Some new terms I learned from Secret Warcraft are limited supply items, and cross-faction trading. I also learned that I don't have to spend hours of my time on World of Warcraft just to make gold to make ends meet. Doing monotonous things in order to make gold is completely optional.
By using limited supply items, and cross-faction trading, making gold on WoW has never been so easy!
All you have to do is, first get a list of the Limited Supply items on WoW. You can get an excellent complete list at SecretWarcraft.com, it's organized by zone and location, as well as profit potential per item, so you can get going as fast as possible with limited supply trading.
Then with that list, you will have to monitor your auction house. Check which items are selling for a lot, and which ones are not so hot on your server, that way you wont end up wasting money on an item that you wont be able to sell for a good profit.
After getting an idea of which items would best suit your gold-making needs, it's time to go shopping for the items you are planning to sell.
With a bunch of empty bags, you should be able to fit a bunch of limited supply items. The best ones to go for are Alliance exclusive items such as Pattern: Black Whelp Cloak, Pattern: Raptor Hide Belt, or Pattern: Black Whelp Tunic.
Or you can try the Horde exclusive items such as Formula: Enchant Chest - Lesser Mana, Pattern: Raptor Hide Harness, and Recipe: Crispy Bat Wing.
Cross-faction trading is the way to make a good gold profit from these limited supply items. Cross-faction trading basically means that you're selling Horde only items on the alliance side, and vice versa.
